Salute to our Troops
Members of Mid-Atlantic Scots4tots and the Pipe Band teamed up to present the Colors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s (WRAMC) Spring Fling/ Family Fun-Day April 30th and help with various activities throughout the day.

Bill Ray from the pipe band had his daughter Katie doing face painting. This was Katie’s first event for M.A.S.T. since recently joining, and did a fantastic job for the families. David Close introduced other members to balloon twisting which was a huge hit with the children at the event (and for other members too (see picture below)

Within just one year Mid-Atlantic Scots4tots, has be able to present WRAMC with $1000 to help with the families emergency fund, $310 to WRAMC Auxiliary

President of Mid-Atlantic Scots4tots David Close said, “It has been an
amazing year, and thanks the members of M.A.S.T. for their dedication and
commitment to these causes, also thanks members of the Pipes and Drums for
giving up their time to support M.A.S.T. at this and other events”.

“It is team work like this that helps us to make a difference and show our gratitude to the Men and Women who have, and are serving to protect us”.
